Good point. What to do with those pics when an old SO is in them? My husband and I were recently wed and while going through the pictures on his, now our, computer, I kept coming across folders of travel photos with him and some old girlfriend. While I can’t rightly ask him to delete all those pictures, I certainly don’t want them framed on the bookshelf. We’ve removed the photos of the ex-fiance from the frames on the bookshelf and are replacing them with travel photos of the two of us. As far as the digital pics. Who knows? For now, they are in pc storage. Suggestions as to what to do with them in the future would be greatly appreciated. I did use some of his old travel photos for our wedding slideshow, I just focused on the pics where she wasn’t pictured.

I am very sorry to say this but this is quite silly. If you have pictures with someone who meant something to you at some point in your life and you if have had closure, closure here being the key word, then there is no reason why you should be cutting his face out.

Way to go girl! I like the idea of Brad Pitt’s face on my old boyfriend’s face! Brad is so much better-looking than old “what’s his name” anyway. At least I can satisfy my new hubby and still have my fantasies!

It’s not silly, she probably couldn’t get releases from the ex-boyfriend’s to use their images! Yeah, imagine how awkward that would be “Rami, can I use your picture in a video about pics w/ex boyfriends and whether or not I should trash them?” I love idea of pasting hot dudes faces on the pics of exes. I did that with my senior photos w/my a-hole ex. Matthew Modine and Johnny Depp. It was fun. Great video! One of my favs on Worldhum.

Hmmm, the idea of ruining a perfectly good photo by photoshopping the face of some puppet-on-a-string celebrity sounds like a silly idea to me.  Why not just get over the picture of your new flame with his old flame and move forward?  Why let some old picture intimidate you to the point of having to deface it?  I mean, think about it, how stupid would your old pictures look bearing the face of Angelina “the mother of all mothers” Jolie?  Besides, “IF” that person means nothing to your new flame, it should be no big deal to you….. right?

I think most of you are missing the point (with the acceptation of maybe Nicole), I don’t think the creator of this video ever had the intention of censoring the identity of past boyfriends.  WorldHum most definitely would require the consent of the individuals in the video and I’m willing to bet money that this is reason the faces are blurred.  Also, seriously, how many people in real-world relationships ever get “Closure” when parting ways?  That’s a happy term for Dr. Phil loving fools!  If you know how to work a break-up so well you should have your own flipping talk show!

I think what she’s trying to say is, how do you enjoy a memorable time when there are parts that you’d rather not remember?  Good or bad, closure or not, we all have memories we’d rather not remember.  How do you separate the good from the bad?
