That Air Tran story is going hyper in the news. Apparently, it was idle talk between a husband and wife, and some tin-foil hat passengers overheard them and just because they look like muslims, all of them were hauled off. Worse yet, the Air Tran spokesperson ended up blaming the couple for saying something which which would have been perfectly normal, had it been a white couple. Safety first, agreed, but after it was all cleared up, Air Tran could have been a little bit more decent.

Wow, remind me never to read the comments on a story like that again. A lot of sad and scary paranoia on display in the Post comments section. There goes my faith in humanity for this Friday morning!

Lots of tragedy on the list this morning. That Thai fire was something waiting to happen with the way nightclubs are set up there. My heart goes out to the families.
